The annual Community Fair is now firmly established on Bridport’s calendar and is an opportunity for local organisations to promote their events and activities. A large number of groups took part in this year’s event on 4 February, covering a wide range of activities and projects including the Bridport Local Area Partnership, Bridport Heritage Forum, Living Tree, Pathways to Care, Bridport Museum, Community Orchard ,Vision 2030 ,Friends of the Earth, Millennium Green, Bridport Area Development Trust, Bridport Co – Housing, Youth & Community Centre, Bridport & District Model Railway Club , WATAG, Bridport Community Youth Project , Transition Town Bridport , LETS, and POPP. The Town Council was also represented.
It was a very successful day and it showed once again just how many groups are active in the area and how many different and varied services and projects are delivered and supported by the community. Thanks to all who took part and particularly to Linda Bullock at the Town Council for all your work in organising the event.
