Commonwealth Day
On Monday 13th March a group of Y6 pupils from Bridport Primary School escorted by Headteacher, Mrs Debbie Brown, and David Powell, joined the Mayor Cllr Ros Kayes on the terrace at Mountfield to commemorate Commonwealth Day. The Mayor read a message from the Commonwealth Secretary General, pupils read the Commonwealth Affirmation and the Commonwealth flag was then raised. Canon Rev Andrew Evans led a Pause for Thought. Some town councillors and the Town Clerk also attended.
