Bridport Parish boundary walk

On Saturday 16 April, Town Mayor Cllr Sandra Brown will lead a walk around the Bridport Parish boundary. This used to be a traditional event known as the Beating of the Bounds. With just a couple of short deviations for safety and access, the walk will be approx 7.5 miles, beginning on the western edge of the parish at 10 a.m. and ending in the Borough Gardens at 5.30 p.m. with entertainment from the schools choir of the Minerva Trust and David Powell and friends .Local organisations and members of the public, (dogs on leads) are welcome to walk all or part of the route.
